Why I started Trestle
I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming managing a veterinary practice can be, especially when you’re not yet at the point where hiring a full-time practice manager makes financial sense. Owners end up doing it all, and the work that keeps a practice healthy gets pushed aside.

Having someone part-time to delegate to can lighten that load without taking away from your role as the owner, and it does it at a cost that makes sense for your practice. That’s what Trestle is here for: helping privately owned clinics thrive and grow, even when they don’t yet have the support they need.

I’ve worked in veterinary medicine since I was a teenager, mostly in Houston, Texas, across general practice, emergency, and specialty medicine, including dental, oncology, and surgery. I managed a single-doctor dental practice for four years and an eight-doctor, multi-location mixed animal practice for five years, and I’ve provided practice management support to an oncology practice. I now live in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and work with clinics across the country.

Administrative Assistant

Emily brings the whimsy with her everywhere she goes (if you’ve spoken to her, you’ll know what we mean).

She has worked in the veterinary field since 2022, with experience spanning shelter medicine, general practice, and now oncology. She holds a B.S. in Animal Science with a double minor in Human-Animal Interaction and Chemistry, and she plans to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine within the next two years. At Trestle, Emily creates the graphics behind our clients’ marketing and social media.
